Working together
Your goals.
A shared way forward.
Practical guidance for international businesses working with an independent specialist in India.

The starting point
A good engagement makes the work understandable: the problem, the deliverables, who owns each action, and how progress will be reviewed. Market context shapes that agreement.
1. Bring the business context.
Share your website, the services or products that matter, your target customers, and the change you want to achieve. A traffic decline, an unclear offer, a new market, and a repeated AI task call for different starting points.
Useful supporting material can include existing research, approved brand facts, page priorities, and a timeline of recent website changes. We agree on account access only after defining the task that needs it.
2. Agree on a focused scope.
The proposal should identify the work sample, deliverables, exclusions, dependencies, approval stages, reporting period, and budget. Copywriting, development, outreach, and ongoing support are included only when specified.
Recommendations do not automatically include implementation. If your team or developer will make changes, the plan names that responsibility and the checks needed afterwards. Publication and third-party editorial decisions remain outside a provider’s control.
3. Match the work to the market.
SEOByIndia is based in India. Serving a market does not imply a local office, local staff, or availability in every time zone. The brief records where your business genuinely operates and which audience each page is intended to help.
| Customer market | Details to confirm |
|---|---|
| USA | US English, relevant state or service coverage, audience terminology, and the time zone used for calls and deadlines. |
| UK | UK English, actual service availability, local buying questions, and approved pricing or business details where relevant. |
| Australia | Australian English, genuine service areas, state context where useful, and a communication window suitable for both teams. |
| New Zealand | New Zealand English, city or regional relevance, customer expectations, and dates or hours expressed unambiguously. |
Use separate regional pages only when the service or information differs meaningfully. Repeating a page with a different country name is not a useful international strategy. Currency, fees, payment terms, and invoicing details are agreed in the proposal rather than assumed from the customer’s location.
4. Keep decisions moving.
Agree on primary contacts, the channel for project updates, expected response windows, and how approvals are recorded. Shared written notes make it easier to work across time zones. Meeting availability and turnaround depend on the agreed project; this page does not promise round-the-clock support.
For content and outreach, the business supplies or approves the facts, credentials, quotations, and assets it is authorised to use. Important changes should have a named reviewer. AI can assist a workflow, while publication and external communications receive human review.
5. Review useful evidence.
Reporting connects completed work with relevant observations and the next decision. It identifies sources, comparison periods, limitations, and outside factors. Qualified enquiries matter more than a large collection of disconnected metrics.
Search rankings, indexing, editorial placements, and AI citations cannot be guaranteed. We can agree on a clear process, deliverables, and a review standard. See the campaign reporting approach.
What makes a good first brief?
- The website and the main customer problem.
- Target countries, language, and service availability.
- The desired outcome, relevant deadline, and budget range.
- Available evidence and internal implementation capacity.
- The person who can approve scope, content, and changes.
